After a long gap, finally, the Jailbreak for IOS 10.1.1 is made public for iPhone 7, 6s and iPad Pro. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
The enthusiastic jailbreak community has been waiting patiently for any solid and concrete information pertaining to a jailbreak on iOS 10.x, which came very recently when an exploit was posted online after it was patched by Apple in iOS 10.2. Finally, you can enjoy the root access and customize the iPhone.
However, this jailbreak is a beta release, meaning it might have all sort of bugs and other issues. Moreover, Cydia Substrate isn’t supported as yet. That means it’s only semi-untethered jailbreak. Currently, only iPhone 7 running iOS 10.1 and iOS 10.1.1, and iPhone 6s and iPad Pro running any version of iOS 10.x (pre-iOS 10.2) are supported by the jailbreak.
If you are on iOS 10.2, you cannot jailbreak it, for now, Apple has stopped signing IOS 10.1.1, that means there is no way you can downgrade to IOS 10.1.1
