As seen in the video, the Redmi Note 7 is not much different from other smartphones, in terms of arrangements of the internals. It seems repairing the phone is quite easy. Just heat up the back glass and peel it off. There you can see a copper strip is connecting the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone.
The internals is stuck together with few screws. There is a couple of ribbon cables connecting the main board to the secondary board and other components like a loudspeaker, microphone, haptic motor, etc. The USB Type-C port is on a secondary board, making easy to replace. The back camera lens is protected by a separate single glass, which can be easily replaced if shattered. Further going down, you can see all other parts like front camera, Snapdragon 660 SoC, storage board, etc.
