As I already mentioned, the company launched a new Redmi Note 5 in India in my previous post. However, along with the Redmi Note 5, a bigger brother was also launched, the Redmi Note 5 Pro. So, let’s talk about the Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India, specifications, and availability.
Redmi series from the Xiaomi has been a most loved smartphone by the customers, Redmi Phones, and Redmi Notes. Because of the cheap price and better specifications made it possible. Currently, the company has launched a bundle of smartphone under this series.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro has a 5.99-inch display, with the full aluminum body, 1080X2160 pixel, 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on MIUI 9, based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat, probably will get the Android 8 Oero update soon.
Inside the metallic body, it packs Octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz. It comes on a couple of variant 3GB, and 4GB/ 6GB RAM with 32GB and 64GB internal storage respectively. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Xiaomi also included dual pyrolytic graphite sheet inside the phone which helps in reducing the temperature by 2-degree Celsius.
The optics department also looks quite interesting, with a dual12-megapixel f/2.2 aperture sensor + 5-megapixel, f/2.0 aperture sensor setup at the rear. For the selfies, it packs a massive 20-megapixel, f/2.0 aperture, with LED flash. I really don’t feel comfortable taking a selfie with the flash on your face. Xiaomi said that the front camera is even better. It has Beautify 4.0 capturing for AI-driven beautified photos based on the skin tone of the subject. And it also unlocks the device.
The phone packs a 4000mAh non-removable battery that comes with 5V/2A charging support. The fingerprint scanner is located on the backside of the phone. Connectivity includes 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, micro USB, 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It comes in black, champagne Gold, Rose Gold, and Blue color options.
