Xiaomi is on fire, yet again, the company launches another budget phone in China, the Xiaomi Redmi 7. It is the most affordable phone, which offers more than the price would. For now, let’s talk about Redmi 7 specifications, features and availability.
The Redmi 7 features 6.26 HD+, 19:9 aspect ratio, display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the top. Inside, it packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset with octa-core CPU and Adreno 506 GPU. The processor is coupled with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM with 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage respectively.
Redmi 7: most affordable with better specs and features
The optics department is also pleasing. It packs dual camera setup on the back with 12MP + 2MP sensors with 1/2.9” sensor size, placed vertically. For the selfies, there is an 8 MP shooter, placed on the notch top screen.
There is a 4,000mah battery with standard 10M charging, plenty of AI features and MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. The phone is coated with the hydrophobic coating, making it splash proof. Sensors include Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, compass. It will be available in black, red and blue color options.
Now, talking about the pricing, it’s quite affordable starting from $100.
