Xiaomi Mi MIX is yet to be officially launched in Nepal. But in an event, some blogger got an opportunity to see it, which means the phone will be launched soon with limited stock. The Mi MIX has is a uniquely designed phone, which gives the glimpse of the future of the smartphone. The near bezel-less design was amazing but there were some usability issues, which will be fixed in next-generation Mi MIX. Yes, you read it right, Xiaomi is working on the successor of Mi MIX.
CEO of Xiaomi Lei Jun has made the announcement on Chinese social site Weibo regarding the successor of the MI MIX but has not revealed any specification. However, he confirmed that the company is partnering with the French designer Philippe Starck for the design of Mi MIX successor. He is the same designer with whom Xiaomi had worked for original Mi MIX.
It’s too early for the successor as the original Mi MIX was just launched in November. But there are already rumors floating suggesting that the Mi MIX 2 will have 100% screen to body ratio. The concept of the front to be completely screen is exciting, but we will have to wait how the company will design the Mi MIX 2. The company is yet to decide on the design of the phone so there is a possibility of 100% screen to body ratio phone. However, no other news or specifications are in the market for right now. Though, we could expect the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 really soon.
