WoW Time: Nepal Telecom launches an App with 130 TV channels.

Nepal telecommunication, the government-owned telecom has launched a new app called “ WoW Time ”.

Basically, the app lets you watch movies, TV channels, listen to online radio, watch videos, on your smartphone. The telecom partnered-up with Win Nepal Pvt. Ltd. to launch this app. There are total 130 TV channels, including Nepali, English, and other international channels. However, this app or service will only be available for Pre-paid and Post-post customer of the telecom.

For now, the service will be free for a month after that certain price will be charged and more updates will come along. The subscriber can use either use Wi-Fi or mobile data for the app.

Here is the process:

1. Download the app for respective platform, Android, and iOS
2. Choose any 1 option, and a registration pop-up will appear
3. Enter your details, and a PIN/Password will be sent to your number
4. Enter the PIN/Password
5. And enjoy the show

The app will sure give a though competition for existing IPTV provider, NET TV, and Clear TV. We hope as the competition grows the services will be more refined and cheaper.
