Huawei Nova 3 has been the on hype ever since the initial rumors has emerged on the internet. The buzz was quite similar till the date of launch. The queue outside the official store on the day of the launch is the big enough proof that the buzz was real. The key to this hype was the design and the 4 cameras. Now, after using it for more than a month, it is the device: where style meets the performance.

With the intensive use during more than a month of use, we have found the performance of the device to the par and the design agronomic. You can read the full review of the Nova 3 in our separate article. Here is mainly talking about the beauty and the beast Nova 3.

Huawei Nova 3: where style meets the performance

The 6.3 inches display is the glass back and metallic frame look gorgeous with the vivid color options of Iris Purple, Black, Red and Pearl white( which it will be launched for Dashain). With the “love me or hate me” notch on the top the front display that almost covers full of the screen with 84.2% screen to body ratio. The notch is dependent on your preference, you may like it or hate it. But the notch packs dual camera and face unlock sensor. If the notch is not your forte then you can hide it. There is an option in the system you can choose to hide the notch. Besides hiding notch, you can also toggle the screen resolution between HD+ and FHD+. It might save battery or just wondering the difference. Changing the screen resolution might change the screen clarity and also might affect some applications/games.

And the in the performance is quite smooth, with the Huawei’s in-house Kirin 970 chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM. This device is definitely a beast with the flagship level chipset and powerful enough RAM. In our review period, we had a lot of chicken dinner while playing power intensive game PUBG. We felt no disturbance, even setting the graphics to HD and Frame Rate to High, there was no issue. And the company’s groundbreaking GPU Turbo technology enhances the performance of the device. While playing lightweight games, there was no disturbance at all. Even in Asphalt 9: Legends, the performance was quite smooth.

Along with the gaming performance, the device can handle multitasking effortlessly. With multiple application running on background, the loading time for heavying apps didn’t take much time. The performance of the device is backed by the 3750mAh battery. The device can easily last for 1 and half day with light usages and almost 5-6 hours with heavy usages like cooking chicken dinner ;).

After the month of use, we found Huawei Nova3 is a device where style meets the performance. So, if you are planning for mobile shopping this Dashain festival, then Nova 3 could be your choice.
