The concept of the mobile photography has evolved with the technological advancement. The smartphone cameras are no longer used just for social media upload. With the recent develop on the mobile camera technology, they are on par to any high end cameras. Still the concept of the mobile photography has not been mainstream. Seeking this opportunity of bringing Photographer and Mobile Photography, Vivo has come with #vivographers campaign.
With the Visit Nepal Year 2020 near the corner, different companies has came up with their own campaign to promote the VNY2020. With the campaign “#vivographers”, Vivo has came up with the idea of promoting the VNY2020 with mobile photography. Where the company has tie up with 5 different photographers who excel in different areas of photography as its “#vivographers”. And in future these #vivographers will increase in huge number. This campaign will motivate many photographers who are low key and give them a chance of exposure. vivo believes that every photographer is good at its own they just need an exposure. Vivo says that they will make #vivographer a trend in Nepal like it has already got so much fame in India.
Five photographers who has been selected as Nepal’s first #vivographers are from different genre, sharing and learning from their experience together. Nepal’s first five #vivographers are:
- Prasanna Bijukchhe
- Raza Shrestha
- Sagar Giri
- Sunweet Maskey
- Uddi Baba
These five #vivographers who specialize on different genre will replace their cameras with Vivo phones, and will try to capture similar images though mobile photography. The campaign will began from 8th of December, we hope see lots of aspiring mobile photography, portrait their talent and promote the VNY2020.
