Vivo is one of the most anticipated and awaited smartphone brands that’s yet to arrive in the Nepali market. Though we see Facebook updates, there is no sign that the company is coming to Nepal soon. Nevertheless, the company has silently launched a new Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y79, in China. The price of Vivo Y79 in Nepal and other specifications are described below.
The Y79 follows the design of Vivo V7+ and sports a 5.99-inch, 18:9 aspect ratio display. The main highlights of this phone are Face Wake features and 24-megapixel selfie camera.
Talking and the specifications, the Y79 sports a 5.99-inch HD+ (720X1440 pixel) IPS Incell ‘Full View’ display, with 18:9 aspect ratio, and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
If we sneak inside the full metallic body of Vivo Y79, we will see a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core SoC, clocked at 2.0GHz and 4GB of RAM. To store your media files, the Vivo Y79 features 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
In the optics department, the Vivo Y79 packs a 16-megapixel camera at the rear with f/2.0 aperture. For the selfies, it has a massive 24-megapixel, with f/2.0 aperture and 1/2.78-inch sensor camera at the front, with a dedicated Moonlight flash.
