Finally, the Vivio X20 Plus In-screen Fingerprint Sensor (AKA Vivo X20 Plus UD), is official. It is the world’s first ever smartphone to have the fingerprint embedded under the display. So, let’s talk about the Vivo X20 Plus UD price, specs, and availability.
The Vivo X20 Plus In-screen Fingerprint models have 6.43-inch Super -AMOLED Full HD+ 2160X1080 pixel display. And it has the aspect ratio of 18:9, of course, has become the standard.
According to the company, the by using photoelectric reflection technology, the RGB Pixel that is especially adapted to the OLED panel emits light which penetrates the outer glass that has a thickness of 0.68mm to reach finger.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD price is around $565 only. And it seems the phone will be available only in China.
The company also claims the sensor can unlock the phone in just around 0.6 to 0.7 seconds. Furthermore, the user does not have to raise their finger, it can be conveniently unlocked the phone by tapping the on-screen fingerprint icon.
Talking about the internals, the phone comes with Snapdragon 660 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM. To store your media files, the phone has 128GB internal storage, expandable via micro SD card. The phone also includes ES9318 DAC + combo amp Hi-Fi audio and AI.
In the optics department, the Vivo X20 Plus UD packs Dual sensors at the rear, 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel, with f/1.8 aperture. Similarly, the front-facing camera has a 12-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
To back up the internals, it packs a 3800 mAh battery and supports fast charging. The Vivo X20 UD runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat and FunTouch OS 3.2 on the top. Connectivity includes, 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, MicroUSB 2.0 and sensors includes fingerprint (under display), accelerometer, proximity, compass.
Coming to the main-point, Vivo X20 UD price is 3,598 Yuan (~$565). The pre-booking has already started and will be available from January 29 and sale will begin from Feb 1. But, there is no news about its availability outside the home country.
