The Galaxy A7 2018 has a 6.0-inch Full HD+ S-AMOLED display with the resolution of 1080 X 2220. The display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio is covered by an unspecified version of Corning’s Gorilla Glass, which has a glass-on-glass design sandwiched by a metallic frame. Internally, the Galaxy A7 2018 packs an octa-core Exynos processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The SoC is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a micro-sd card up to 512GB.
The main feature of the phone is the triple cameras. There is a f/1.7 24MP primary camera, which is said to excel even in the low light settings. Along with the primary camera, there is a f/2.4 8MP sensor with a wide-angle lens and a f/2.2 5MP depth sensor. The wide-angle lens can be used to expand the field of view while capturing the images where is the depth sensor comes into action while taking portrait images.
The device runs on Android Oreo (v8.0) with Experience UI on the top. The phone has all the primary sensors like accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors. The phone is priced with the tag of Rs. 42,990 only. The phone is available for pre-booking via an online form. The pre-bookers will be getting either a bottle speaker or a Level U Flex headphones for free. That’s not all, all the buyers of the phone will get six months breakage insurance from Shikhar Insurance. The inclusion of breakage insurance on the midrange handsets is very rare and this initiative from Samsung is really praise-worthy.
