The Sony launched the most powerful flagship, the Xperia XZ2 in China, yesterday. The Xperia XZ2 feature a double-glass design with 3D curvature on the back. An aluminum frame holds the Both glass panels. The glasses are protected with Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is also waterproof and dustproof, it is IP65/68 certified.
The Xperia XZ2 has a 5.7-inch display with 1080X3840 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It features TRILUMIOS, X-Reality and HDR technologies, making one of the best display on any smartphone. The Xperia XZ2 measures 153 x 72 x 11.1 mm, while its weight is 198 grams. It runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo). Inside, there is Snapdragon 845 chipset, Octa-core CPU, and Adreno 630 GPU. The processor is coupled with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 400GB via microSD card.
Unlike other flagships, the Xperia XZ2 has a single camera with 19-megapixel sensor, with f/2.0 aperture at the rear. And the front camera has a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The primary camera is also capable of recording 4K video and Slow-Motion video at 960 frames per second (FHD and HD). The battery has a capacity of 3180 mAh and, according to tests, it has been optimized in an excellent way by the Japanese company. It supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.
The Xperia XZ 2 will be available in Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green and Ash Pink colors option. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB 3.1 Type-C, and sensors include Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, barometer, compass, color spectrum.Talking about the pricing, it will be available at $954, which roughly translates Rs. 1,00,170 only.
