Snapchat is a messaging app built for sharing photos and videos, available for Android and IOS. It gives a user an extra benefit to adding a caption or animation. It is kind of famous and widely used app but it’s also famous for making a terrible android app.
Today, again it’s on the top of headlines, Snapchat announced the new Sunglasses with a camera attached to it. And from now its Snapchat Inc. not only snapchat.
According to CEO Evan Spiegel, the company is taking on this new identity because it’s beginning to offer products other than Snapchat. That’s fine, other companies like Facebook, twitter, etc. have done that.
Now, let us talk about the sunglasses with a wide-angle camera attached. The camera is 115 degrees wide, the resolution is unknown, can make a circular video up to 10 seconds and will activate with a gentle tap near its hinge. This video is connected with the smartphone through some kind of technology (technology is unclear).
A circular video but why?
Spiegel claims that rectangles are unnecessary remnants from when pictures needed to be printed on paper. The circular video allows you to not just see images, but “have an experience of an experience.” Hmm.

Hope these guys learned something from the failure of Google Glass, which was indeed a brilliant concept but very less useful and very very very ugly (no offense).
If you have some reason (could be anything) you can buy it for $130 which is way lower then googles $1500 (just for reference), will be available on this fall and the quantity will be very limited.
