Today, the Samsung Electronics Co. has ended the production of its latest smartphone Note series Galaxy Note 7.  Due to fire issue, the company has to shut down the production.

Samsung had to recall Galaxy Note 7 after the early models exploded. This critical fault on the phones injured some people too. Even worse, these phones were banned by the Airlines worldwide. Though they replaced the old models, the new ones also began to catch fire while charging. The company already recalled 2.5 million of Galaxy Note 7.

The company suspended the production temporarily on Monday and today, they have officially stopped the production of the Note 7.

According to Bloomberg “Samsung electronics shares fell 8% on Tuesday.” Though it will be around $17 billion dent for the company, it is still a good idea to stop the production. It will be better for the company as soon as possible it could make a distance from this fiasco. After all, the value of the Samsung brand is much more worth than a single device.

Analysts estimated the original recall would cost between $1 billion and $2billion, but the figure will certainly rise now.

Now, the question arises, should we keep using Note 7?

NO!

As the company has already stopped the production, it would be the wise decision if you return it. Otherwise, there is no guarantee that you are safe with the device in your hands. The Samsung has officially announced that the refunds and exchanges are taking place until 31 December. Samsung had to stop the problem before it damages extends.

Now moving on, in the upcoming months Samsung has to rethink about how to repair the damage caused to the company. This won’t be an easy task to regain the consumers confident in the Note series.

Till then, return your Note 7, if you own one and stay safe. And do not forget to comment in the comment box below, what do you think the Samsung should do right now!
