Just a year ago, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Fiasco literally heated the Samsung mobile phone market. Though that fiasco is long forgotten, now, the rivalry has begun. Actually, it’s been quite a while since the Samsung has attacked Apple directly. But, thanks to commercials the rivalry is back. Now, the Samsung has returned to attack the iPhone X, just in time. This time, the Samsung mercilessly mocks the Apple’s last 10 years.
Here, we stroll through phone history, since the first iPhone launched.
Titled “Growing Up”, the Samsung ads follows an iPhone fan upgrading through the iterations of Apple’s phone, starting in 2007, each time poking fun at various limitation the iPhone has.
Samsung mercilessly mocks iPhone on the limitation it has. A hilarious ad to watch 😆 .
The mocking goes like this, first of all, the Samsung highlights the lack of usable 16GB storage in iPhone 4. Later on, for iPhone 5S, Samsung pokes for its ‘small’ 4-inch display compare to screen of Galaxy Note 3, which is 5.5 inch.
Furthermore, the Samsung lightly ridicules Apple for being behind it in failing to add water resistance to the iPhone 6, while Galaxy S7 Edge can survive a dunk in the water without needing rice bath afterward.
Coming to 2017, the South Korean Giant, pokes the Apple on the decision to drop the headphone jack with iPhone 7, and that it also lagged behind the Galaxy S8 in offering the wireless charging.
At last, the advertisement’s iPhone fan finally switches over to a Galaxy Note 8, wandering past the people queuing for an iPhone X and shaking the head at them.
Of course, the Apple will reply back soon, which will be hilarious to watch.
