With the ranges of smartphone lined-up for Samsung, there are new product launch every month and sometimes even within a week. Some months we see the launch from low range and some months from premium range. This time the company has launched new smartphone from the mid-range category, the newly launched device is 2018 version of Galaxy A6: “The Samsung launches Galaxy A6 (2018).”
There is two variant of Galaxy A6 2018, the Galaxy A6 (2018) and Galaxy 6 Plus (2018). The Galaxy A6 is sized 5.6-inch and its taller variant size 6-inch, with both the devices featuring Samsung’s infinity display but has bigger bezels than the current flagship Samsung Galaxy S9. While having different screen size, both the devices have different resolutions as the A6 has HD+ screen, whereas the A6 Plus has an FHD+ resolution.
For the processers, both the devices house company’s own Exynos chipset, but for A6 clocked at up to 1.6GHz, whereas for A6 Plus maxed out at 1.8GHz. Both the devices have similar RAM and storage sizes: 3GB and 32GB, or 4GB and 64GB variant. However, battery to power the devices are different as the A6 has 3000mAh battery and the taller A6Plus has bigger 3500mAh battery.
Samsung Launches Galaxy A6 and A6 Plus with Infinity Edge Display
On the optics department, the company has followed its flagship, with the A6 sporting a 16MP lens with the f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture on the back and front respectively, whereas A6 Plus offers dual 16MP with f/1.7 aperture and 5MP lens with f/1.9 aperture. For the selfie shooter, there are different lenses, as A6 has the 16MP lens and A6 Plus has a 24MP lens with f/1.9 aperture. Even the fingerprint scanner is placed in the similar place to Galaxy S9 and offers Dolby Atmos audio.

The devices will be launched in European, Asian and Latin American market at first and gradually launched in other markets. But the pricing is yet unknown but the bigger variant is sure too expensive.
