The seventh edition of galaxy note is on the way to the market. The note was announced on August 2016 and is expected to be released on September 2016. This phone takes all the features of Samsung S7 Edge and all good things about the note series. You will get all the specification like Octa-core (4×2.3 GHz Mongoose & 4×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU, Exynos 8890 Octa Chipset, 4 GB RAM, and it will be running on Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and will surely be upgraded to v7.0 (Nougat).
Let’s talk about the design and first look of the phone, which is marvelous in design wise and feel very comfortable in hands. You will get dual edge display but adjusted little bit, basically they have move the apex of the curve a little bit closer to the edge, so that there more flat glass on the front and just small curve on the sides. This phone is little bit smaller from previous note and a bit bigger than s7 edge.
Talking about the storage, it has built in 64BG capacity, however if you feel to upgrade your storage in the note 7, you can go up to 256GB memory card, which was also in s7 feature and it’s also fully ip68 water proof certified like the galaxy s7 and the stylus is also waterproof too, so no need worry about dropping in water or using in the rain. And from the Note side you bring the bigger display, it 5.78 inch and of course you get the larger battery 3500mAH with this bigger phone.
And it wouldn’t be Note without the S pen feature and of course it has new improved the S-pen features, like I said it is also waterproof and much more sensitive. Most interesting feature of this S-pen is that it lets you capture the screen for few second and make a .GIF file, which is very super convenient.
The glass in front and edge is of course, Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 1140×2560 pixels (~518 ppi). The metal finish also feels very premium. Talking about other features, it has 12MP camera in back and 5 MP on front, the back camera can record up to 4K video and 9MP image with features like touch focus, face/smile detection, auto HDR, panorama 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps, 720p@240fps, HDR, dual video recording.
And another thing that Samsung has done is that, finally they have switch to USB type C. This is the USB C phone that Samsung have ever made.
Another most interesting feature of this phone is Iris scanning as a security feature which help you to unlock your phone by scanning your eyes. Initially, it took some time to recognize but as you do more the scanner becomes more fast, it seems learning your eyes better.
