Holy Crap! Samsung Galaxy J5 catches fire

Everything seems to go wrong for Samsung these days. After Galaxy Note 7 saga and the recent recall of 3 million washing machine. Now these problems seem to affect even its budget end smartphone. There is news surfaced that Galaxy J5 caught fire, though its only unit reported the problem but the news spread like wildfire after previous Note 7 saga.

Samsung is already going through very hard time, as they recalled new phablet Galaxy Note 7.  Not only recall, but they discontinued the production and started focusing for Galaxy S8. This recall and discontinuation have cost millions of dollars to the Samsung.

However, another shocking news is viral on the internet. Samsung Galaxy J5 also catches fire.

As the TIM reports:

The report comes straight from France where Lamya Bouyirdane told The Associated Press that her Galaxy J5 burnt in flames after she noticed that her phone became extremely hot and swell up.

“I panicked when I saw the smoke and I had the reflex to throw it away,” said Bouyirdane after she asked her four-year-old son to pass the phone duing a family gathering.

Thankfully, the phone that Lamya Bouyirdane bought last June was extinguished by her husband before it causes any other damage.

Well, the Samsung is yet to comment on the incident. But, as the explosion of Galaxy phones are occurring, one has to be very careful. As this Note 7 explosion is not new, other phones also exploded in past.

So, if you own a Galaxy J5, it would be a good idea to check it regularly, if it overheats or something unusual is happening with it. Don’t let your NRs. 24,000 rupees phone burn like that.

However, coming back to the incident, the analyst believe that this incident was not related to the manufacturing default or anything of that sort.
