After some leaks and rumors, the Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy A8s, with a circular camera hole on the display. That means we are very near to full-screen display screen in near future. Also known as the Infinity-O display, it highlights the selfie camera of the phone. Besides, this hole every this inside and outside is as usual. Nevertheless, let’s talk about specifications, features, and availability.
Samsung Galaxy A8s comes with 6.4 inches Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio, IPS LCD display. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie. Inside, there will be Snapdragon 710 chipset with octa-core CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. The processor is coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB.
Talking about the optics department, there is the triple camera on the back, with 24MP f/1.7 being the main camera, 10MP, and another 5Pf/2.2 as a depth sensor. The feature includes LED Flash, panorama, and HDR. Similarly, there is a single 24MP f/2.0 selfie camera, capable of recoding 1080p@30fs.
To back up the internals, there is non-removable Li-ion 3400 mAh battery. Sensors include Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Connectivity includes WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Radio, USB Type- C. The device will be available in Blue, Gray, and Green.
Actually, Samsung also has other competitors who are launching the same type of display smartphones like Nova 4 and Honor View 20. Similarly, Lenovo is also moving towards the same idea, removing the notch, with the hole.
Talking about the price, there are no official words. However, given the specs, we expect it to on the higher mid-range category.
