Sony’s PlayStation 5 is finally released and will be available from Nov 12, 2020. PlayStation 5 is a all new design next-gen console by Sony. The next-gen console PlayStation 5 is providing the best exclusives than another console in the market. Recently Microsoft launches their next-gen console as well: XBOX series X. And just with a small gap of time we have PlayStation 5 for us. Let’s see what this device is offering us.
CPU and GPU
Among the component inside a console, these two have the highest importance. For powerful performance and seamless gaming, a better CPU and GPU is always at the top. And Play Station 5 with its specs doesn’t seem to disappoint us.
For the CPU section, PlayStation has an 8core AMD Ryzen™ “Zen 2” CPU. This CPU has a variable frequency which goes up to 3.5Ghz. This is a *86 64-bit computing CPU. AMD Radeon™ RDNA 2-based graphics engine GPU is in use for the Graphical components. GPU in PlayStation 5 can operate at 2.23Ghz. The calculation power of this GPU is 1.3 teraflops. The ray-tracing technology is in use for PlayStation 5. And due to this tech lightning in games seems more real.
MEMORY
Memory plays a vital role in smooth loading and smooth performance while playing a game. There are two types of memory: Primary and Secondary memory. In this console, there is 16GB GDDR6 (RAM) as the main memory. This memory has a transfer bandwidth of 448GB/s.
As a secondary memory, there is 825GB SSD storage. This storage helps in faster loading of the game. As well as this is the space you will have for your game. But if this storage is low there is an option for cloud storage so this should not be a problem. This Storage has 5 GB/s of reading Bandwidth for RAW data.
Video Output
The real Gaming experience is when you are able to do gaming at High graphics with smooth fps. Maintaining this wish and gamers’ expectations. PlayStation 5 provides 4k gaming at a smooth 120fps. And not just that gamers are able to do gaming at 8k as well. This video Output from PlayStation 5 comes out of the HDMI jack.
