A few weeks ago, OPPO confirmed that it will launch the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror in March end. However, the company surprisingly announced the devices through a media event in Beijing, today. All the specifications, pricing, etc. information was revealed at the event. So, let’s talk about the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror price, specs, and availability.
Talking about the device, the OPPO R15 comes with 6.28-inch FHD+ 2280X1080 pixel resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio and of course a notch at the top. Similarly, the rear panel is made up of the 2.5D glass panel. Inside the device, there is newly announced MediaTek Helio P60 coupled with 6GB of RAM. To store the media file, there will be 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
Further, the phone packs a 3450mAh battery with VOOC fast charging technology. It runs on Color OS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
In the optics department, the OPPO R15 pack a dual camera setup on the back, with 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor + 5-megapixel secondary sensor. It also features AI Smart Beauty and AI Wisdom Beauty Driven 20-megapixel selfie camera. It fitted with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
OPPO R15 Dream Mirror
The OPPO R15 Dream Mirror is almost same as the OPPO R15. The main difference is that the R15 Dream Mirror has Snapdragon 660 chipset. It is backed by a 3400mAh battery. Similarly, it has dual camera setup with 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor and a 20-megapixel sensor. For selfies, it has a 20-megapixel sensor, which has 296 individual facial features. All the selfie AI are also included. Other than these, the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror is exactly same with OPPO R15.
OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Price and Availability
The OPPO R15 carries a pricing of 2,999 Yuan (`$473) in China. It will be available in color like White, Red, and Purple. The OPPO 15 Dream Mirror that features a 3D glass rear will be hitting the market in colors like Red and Ceramic Black. The Red variant will be carrying a price tag of 3,299 Yuan (`$520) and the Ceramic Black will be arriving with a costlier price tag of 3,499 Yuan (~$552). The OPPO R15 duo will go on sale starting from April 1. The company will also organize an event on March 31, but it’s not clear why.
