Just last week, the OPPO India launched the OPPO A83 in India with a price tag of INR Rs. 13,999 only. And the same OPPO A83 is launched in Nepal too. Today, just a few hours before the CAN Info-Tech exhibition starts, the OPPO Nepal makes the official announcement. OPPO A83 price in Nepal is Rs. 24,990 only. The company was taunting the OPPO A83 since last few days on Facebook.
Design-wise, the phone has very thin bezels on the front. Sensors, mic and selfie camera at the top and nothing more than that. On the back, primary camera at the top right corner with a LED flash and OPPO logo in the middle. Similarly, volume rocker on the left and power button on the right side of the phone. Keep in mind that the OPPO A83 does not have a physical home button. Just like the iPhone X, your face is your password.
The phone comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ LCD display, with the 720X1440 pixel resolution. Inside the metallic body, the phone packs a 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT M6763T Helio P23 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Talking about the camera, OPPO A83 has a 13-megapixel shooter at the rear and an 8-megapixel sensor for the selfies with Beauty Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Actually, the company chose to keep the Facial Recognition feature to unlock the device, ditching the fingerprint scanner. The company also claims, the phone scans for 200 different facial features and unlocks in 0.18 seconds,
The phone runs on Colors OS 3.2 and to back up the internals it comes with non-removable 3180mAh battery. The A83 comes in Champagne and Black colors. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, 3G/4G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2.
