Mobile World Congress is just some days away and Barcelona is getting ready to welcome all the tech-loving visitors. For the Barcelona event, OPPO became the latest company to announce its participation.
Like last year we don’t expect OPPO to release any product at the event. Last year also OPPO participate at the event having launched R9 series just some weeks back in China. At the event, OPPO just announced its Super VOOC charging standard and some SmartSensor camera stabilization.
And this year, the OPPO is all set to launch the latest technology – 5X zoom (most probably). The company has confirmed it will unveil the tech on February 27 in Barcelona. However, from its invite, it’s unclear if it will be hosting a separate event to do so. With the taglines like “Go 5x further,” it appears the company is referring to some sort of zoom feature
We don’t know what OPPO wants to do with its “ground-breaking” 5x technology to improve its smartphones’ cameras — we’re inclined to be “so close” to something in the realm of zoom, though. We do know that it will be showcased at this year’s convention, but whatever it is, the company took a year to research and refine it.
According to Sky Li, Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business.
“We chose MWC to unveil the ‘5x’ technology in the belief that we can inspire the industry to aim higher, and continue to create pioneering products that give amazing experiences for consumers,”
