Since the Apple has introduced FaceID with 3D facial recognition sensor on iPhone X, the Face Unlock has become a big deal these days. Every other phone is implementing such features. Following the trend, one of the most famous flagship killer, the OnePlus also implemented face unlock feature in their latest smartphone OnePlus 5T along with fingerprint scanner, which might have caused frustration among the OnePlus 5 users.
But today, there is a good news for OnePlus 5 users, the Face Unlock feature will come to OnePlus 5, probably in their next software update, Android 8.0 Oero. Carl Pei, Co-Founder of OnePlus, just updates his Twitter account, revealing the information.
