One of the hyped device of the year One Plus 5 has been officially launched. But, for most of the tech enthusiast, there wasn’t much to know about as there have been leaks for quite sometimes. From design to specification had already been known, the only official reveals remained.
The design of the device is similar to that of One Plus 3T on the front and the rear design is inspired by one the famous devices iPhone 7 and from Oppo R11 which is a parent company. On the front, the company has retained similar 1080p HD display from its predecessor, which is still good unless you are into VR.
The rear design of One Plus 5 seems to be inspired from iPhone 7 and Oppo R11 which is a parent company.
The One Plus 5 is powered by the latest 2.45GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. The RAM depends on the storage size you, with 6GB of RAM on 64GB version and 8GB of RAM on the 128GB version. As far as the cameras are concerned, the OnePlus 5 packs a 20-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The OnePlus 5 runs Android 7.1.1 and is powered by a 3300mAh nonremovable battery. It measures 154.20 x 74.10 x 7.25 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 153.00 grams.
The OnePlus 5 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. There is only two color variation; Midnight Black and Slate Grey.
But, the Oneplus 5 is not cheaper as the previous model. I mean, if we look at the price from OnePlus 1 to OnPlus 5, it’s in increasing rate.
