The entry-level smartphone from the HMD Global, the Nokia 2 finally makes its way to the UK. The phone will retail via different e-commerce websites like Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Tesco, Carphone Warehouse, and EE. The phone is currently available for pre-booking only. Talking about the phone, Nokia 2 comes with 5-inches, 1280X720 pixel resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. Alongside, 1GB RAM is included, and to store your media files, it packs 8GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
In the optics department, Nokia 2 pack an 8-megapixel camera at the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter at the front. The phone is running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, not worry it will get the Android 8 soon. To power back the internals, it comes with Li-Ion non-removable 4100 mAh battery. And the company claims the phone will give up to 2 days of backup in a single.
The Nokia 2 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity, Accelerometer, and Ambient light sensor. The phone will be available in Pewter/Black, Pewter/White, Copper/Black.
The phone was launched in Nepal last November and will hit the stores in the UK with a price tag of the 99GBP only.
