The First Android Go (Oreo) smartphone is launched, with the launch of Nokia 1 from world famous Nokia brand in Nepal. Some while ago, in an interview, the MD of Paramount Electronics authorized distributors of Nokia in Nepal, Mr. Aasish Jindal told that the company will launch 3 new smartphone by the end of the year. Nokia 1 isn’t a modern looking phone with big bezels, front-facing camera at the top left corner and a primary camera at the rear top middle of the phone. The phone has a 4.5-inch 480X854 pixel, 16:9 aspect ratio display. Actually, this is the first Nokia phone to have Android Go (Oreo Go) OS, which is specially designed for the low-end devices. And to back up the phone it comes with a user removable Li-Ion 2150mAh battery.
Under the hood, it packs a MediaTek MT6737M Quad-core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. Similarly, it has 1 GB of RAM, and to store your media files it comes with 8GB of internal storage.
The optics department consist of a 5-megapixel sensor with LED flash at the rear of the phone. And for the selfies, it packs a 2-megapixel at the top left corner. The connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Radio and micro USB2.0. and the sensors include only the accelerometer and the proximity.
