Nokia 1, First Android Go Phone from HMD Global, Revealed at MWC 2018

As expected the Nokia launched a bunch of new smartphone at the MWC 2018, at Barcelona, Spain. The HMD Global launched total five smartphones and feature phone at the event, Nokia 1, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 8110 4G. Among them, Nokia 6 (2018) was launched in China a while ago. The Nokia 1 and the Nokia 7 Plus had a bunch of leaks and rumors floating around for a while, which indeed came to be true. For now, we are going to talk about the Nokia 1, the Android Go smartphone and expected Nokia 1 Price in Nepal.

As I already mentioned, the Nokia 1 also got some leaks and rumors for a while. As it is revealed, the rumored specs and the design came to be exactly as rumored. Nevertheless, let’s talk about the specs and features of the Nokia 1.

Starting with the design, the Nokia 1 has pretty big bezels, and a front-facing camera at the top left corner and a primary camera at the rear top middle of the phone. The phone has a 4.5-inch 480X854 pixel, 16:9 aspect ratio display. Actually, this is the first Nokia phone to have Android Go (Oreo Go) OS, which is specially designed for the low-end devices. And to back up the phone it comes with a user removable Li-Ion 2150mAh battery.

Under the hood, it packs a MediaTek MT6737M Quad-core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. Similarly, it has 1 GB of RAM, and to store your media files it comes with 8GB of internal storage.

The optics department consist of a 5-megapixel sensor with LED flash at the rear of the phone. And for the selfies, it packs a 2-megapixel at the top left corner. The connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Radio and micro USB 2.0. and the sensors include only the accelerometer and the proximity.  

Talking about the pricing, it will cost 70 Euros, and the expected Nokia 1 price in Nepal is Rs. 10,000 only.
