The state-owned Telecommunication company, the Nepal Telecommunication celebrated its 14th anniversary yesterday. On the occasion, the company launched a new service called “Namaste Credit”. It is similar to Ncell’s loan service. Unlike Ncell’s loan service, the Nepal Telecom Namaste Credit will not charge any extra charges. The loan will be repaid after the user recharges the main balance.
After enabling this service, users can enjoy the uncut phone call even if the balance is low or no balance at all.
The Minister of Communication and Information Mohan Bahadur Basnet demonstrated the new service “Namaste Credit”, by making a call from a regular phone which had very low balance, to show the call will continue even though the balance is not enough.
However, the service will be available only to the GSM users. The service “Namaste Credit” will come into effect within a month from eh date of the anniversary.
Additionally, the company also has offers on data and voice service.
