After listing their latest smartphone on the official website secretly, the Micromax has launched its latest budget selfie phone – Micromax Selfie 2. This phone aims to those people who love taking the selfie a lot and this time in high quality.
The Micromax Selfie 2 comes with 5.2 inches, 2.5D glass display, with the resolution of 720X1280 pixels. Talking about the internals, it has MediaTek MT6737 chipset, along with 3GB of RAM. The phone also packs 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 64 via microSD card. It is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G.
As we already mentioned it’s for selfie lovers, it has a couple of camera in front of the phone. The front facing dual camera is 8 megapixels, with its own dedicated flash. The flash in front is not much desirable, not for me though. And the primary camera at the rear is a single 13-megapixel camera. The company also claims, that with rear camera, we can bokeh effect photos also, which is pretty rare with single lens camera and in low-priced smartphones.
The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, out of the box. The phone is available in India, just for Indian Rupees. 9,999 (around NRs. 16,000/-). Interestingly, the phone comes with 100 days replacement guarantee, which means, Micromax will replace with same phone or similarly-priced model if there is any damage to it in the first 100 days.
