LG adds a new sub-flagship handset to its portfolio of 2017 smartphones – LG Q8. Actually, the new Q8 shares its DNA with LG V20.
The phone has 5.2 inches display with the resolution of 1440 X 2560 pixels, making 564PPI. Talking about the internals, it has 2.15GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM alongside. It packs 32 GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB.
On the optics department, it packs 13-megapixels at the rear and 5-megapixel for the selfies. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and to back the internals it packs a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the phone include a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
Actually, the phone keeps most of the V20’s key features and puts them in a more compact, waterproofed package. The size is also shined from 5.7 inches to 5.2 inches while keeping the same 2560 X 1440-pixel resolution. Similarly, the battery capacity is also decreased from 3200mAh to 300mAh, still non-removable.
