2017 is a comeback year for Finnish Company Nokia. once the superpower of the mobile industry. Unable to cope with the development of the revolution of the smartphone, the company lost it majority of market share. Later the mobile division was acquired by Microsoft and name of the company was no more in the mobile industry. But with 2017 the brand Nokia has made come back to the market. HMD a Finnish company has right for the production and marketing of the phone. This time the Nokia phone will be powered by Android, unlike the previous generation Symbian OS or Microsoft’s Windows Mobile OS.
We have seen Nokia 6 though it’s only exclusive for the Chinese market. This isn’t a high-end smartphone; Nokia 6 is aimed at the mid-tier because of its hardware specifications. Nokia 6 features a 5.5 inch Full HD display along with 2.5D Gorilla Glass for protection.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC with X6 LTE modem. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Nokia 6 features 16-megapixel Rear camera and an 8 Megapixel front camera.
There is more Nokia phone to come this year. The company has not made any official news but we can expect some high-end smartphone for the company at upcoming MWC Barcelona. At the event we can expect Nokia 8, some rumors suggest.
According to rumors the new Nokia 8 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 24MP Rear Camera and more. But rumors suggests that there will be two variants of Nokia 8, one will feature the Snapdragon 821 and the other Snapdragon 835. Both the variant will have 5.7 inches screen with a resolution of 2560X1440. For storage, the Snapdragon 821 variant will feature 64GB ROM while the Snapdragon 835 variant will feature 128GB ROM. But, both of them will support up to 256GB external microSD card.
Nokia 8 will continue to use the Carl Zeiss camera. The rear camera will feature 24MP Carl Zeiss optics with OIS and super EIS. The Nokia 8 will use 4GB of RAM, which is same as most of the flagship.
