The IMARS, a very little-known brand in Nepal, is going to launch its smartphones in Nepal. The China-based company will be starting its sales only after the Dashain. In the meantime, the company has started to make people aware about their presence in Nepal. So, as a first step, the company has signed a contract with Mr. Anmol K.C., as the Brand Ambassador for a year. The company signed the agreement with Mr. KC in an event at Hotel Malla, a few days ago.
Since, the company will start with the smartphones, initially. Later on, Mr. Sushil Neupane, the country manager told that it will also bring TV, Laptops, Power Bank, etc. In Nepal, the Opal Multinational Pvt. Ltd. will be responsible to look after the business in Nepal. The IMARS also hope to open the IMARS plaza, where a wide variety of product will be available. For now, the sales and marketing part of the company is directly controlled by IMARS China itself.
For now, the company will launch 6 phones in Nepal. Out of them, four will be the smartphones, whereas the remaining will be the feature phones. For, now no other information regarding the price and availability is mentioned, neither the launch date.
To compete with the companies like Huawei, Samsung, and Xiaomi, the IMARS is gearing up. However, only the time will tell how successful they will be.
