Huawei Y7p launched in Nepal, comes with HMS and triple camera

Huawei adds another smartphone in its Y-series lineup, Huawei Y7p. Well, with Huawei Mobile Service (HMS), it would be interesting to see how well the phone will do in the market. Nevertheless, let’s talk about the Huawei Y7p price in Nepal, specs, features, and availability.

As usual, starting with the display, it packs 6.39-inch HD+, 1560X720p resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio display, with a punch hole on the top. However, the punch hole is on the top-left corner, measuring 4.5mm wide. Further, inside the device, there is the in-hose Kirin 710F octa-core CPU along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB.  It comes with Android 9 Pie, EMUI 9.1 skinned on the top. Furthermore, it comes with pre-installed AppGallery with HMS, which is similar to Google Mobile Services (GMS), but less popular.

Now, coming to the optics, it flaunts triple-camera setup, with 48MP primary camera, f/1.8 + 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, f/2.4 + 2MP depth sensor, f/2.4. In the book, the device looks awesome, however at the same price level; there are other better phones in the market. The camera has an AI scene recognition that enables the rear cameras to recognize more than 500 scenes while applying a real-time custom environment. For selfies, there is an 8MP sensor with AI algorithms.

The device is available from different outlets across the country just for Rs.23,900 only, from 4GB/64GB variant. It comes with HMS not GMS, so you might find difficulty while searching the app store. The HMS seems promising, but at the moment, it lacks the number of users and facilities available.
