The Huawei Nepal organized an event at Hotel Annapurna, Kathmandu, where the highlight of the event was Huawei Nova 2i. However, alongside with the Nova 2i, the company also announced the launch of Huawei Y7. The launch of the device was kept secret and words were spoken to media personnel regarding the device. The company had launched the Huawei Y7 Prime couple of months ago, and this is a spec down version of the same device. The company also announced the price of Huawei Y7, which will just Rs 15900 for the first three months.
Talking about the phone, it is 5.5-inch tall, with the 720 x 1280-pixel resolution. Inside, the phone is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 435 SoC, alongside with either 2GB of RAM. Similarly, the storage is available in the 16GB variant, expandable up to 256GB. It has standard connectivity options, including 4G VoLTE and powered by a 4000mAh battery. It weighs 153 grams and measures 153.6×76.4×8.4 mm. The major difference from Huawei Y7 Prime is that Huawei Y7 does not have the fingerprint sensor.
The phone has a 12-megapixel primary camera, with LED flash at the back. And an 8-megapixel camera for the selfies. Unlike the Y7 Prime, the bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. At the rear, the phone has a 13-megapixel camera, with f/2.0 aperture.
