Huawei Mobile Nepal is planning to roll out a software update for it’s P9 smartphone. Huawei updated their status on the Facebook, asking the customers to provide their IMEI number and the email address.
The company is only looking for the beta testers. The company rolls out the new update to the selected customers and those customers have to report to the company if any bugs are found in the software.
However, in the comments on Huawei’s post, we found that the public is confused it as any kind of offer. One thing everyone should keep in mind is that the beta testing is not an offer, it is just a request from the company, to use your device to test new updates.
Beta testing is the last stage of testing and normally can involve sending the product to beta test sites outside the company for real-world exposure or offering the product for a free trial download over the Internet.
The company also announced that the beta testers will get some gifts too. This is just a complementary gift, not an offer.
The update will be available after a couple of weeks only to the registered p9 owners. It’s not clear whether other models will get the update or not as the company asked for P9 only.
If you like to test the new EMUI 5.0 (based on Android 7.0) before it is released, you can provide your IMEI number and the email to the company via Facebook. If you have any question, you can ask us here. We will be happy to help you.
