Honor smartphones price in Nepal
ADVERTISEMENT

After some rumors and speculations, finally, the Honor brand enter in Nepal. About a couple of weeks ago, there were rumors that brand might enter in the market at any time. Now, it is official. Actually, at first, I was quite excited about the brand, however after seeing the pricing, my excitement drowned. Nevertheless, let’s talk about the honor smartphones price in Nepal, specifications, features, and availability.

Even though the Honor is online retailing, just like OnePlus, in Nepal, it will be available through the traditional retailers/offline shops. Going through offline retails, the Honor smartphones price in Nepal is high, which is obvious. Though, it’s not only the reason for such pricing. Kartos Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Is the official distributor of Honor brand in Nepal. For now, there will be four different variants, initially.

Honor 7S

This is the cheapest among the four of the device. It is available at INR Rs. 6,000 in India. It comes with 5.45 inch IPS LCD screen with 1440X720 pixel resolution display. Inside, there is MediaTek MT6739 quad-core CPU. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. Actually, most of the budget smartphone comes with the dual camera set up at the back, but the Honor 7S comes with the single camera on the back, 13MP, and a 5MP selfie camera.

Major Highlights

  • Display: 5.45″ IPS LCD screen; 18:9 aspect ratio
  • Resolution: 1440 x 720 pixels
  • Chipset: MediaTek MT6739 quad-core (4x Cortex A53 1.5GHz)
  • GPU: Power VR GE8100

  • Battery: Li-Ion 3,020 mAh battery
  • Price in Nepal: Rs. 15,490/-

Honor 7A

Similarly, next is Honor 7A, it comes with little bit powerful chipset than Honor 7S, SD 430. Even though it has little bit powerful chipset, at Rs. 18.490 only, it’s overpriced.

Major Highlights

  • Display: 5.7″ IPS LCD screen; 18:9 aspect ratio

Honor 8X

With glass on both side and Kirin 710 chipset, 4GB of RAM make its more desirable and blue color makes this device a head-turner. However, after hearing the price of the device, my head turned another side. If we look at the specs, we recommend you buy Nova 3i instead because it’s all same inside and better deal.

  • Display: 6.5″ IPS LCD screen, 19.5:9 aspect ratio
  • Resolution: 1080 x 2340 pixels (~397 PPI pixel density)

Honor Play

At last, the most expensive and highest specs, among the four, Honor Play. It packs HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Well, specs wise it looks quite desirable, but pricing wise it is also a waste of money.

  • Resolution: 1080 x 2340 pixels (~409 PPI pixel density)

There is no question that the Honor smartphones are excellent in specs wise, design-wise, and also price wise, but only in the international market. However, coming to Honor Smartphones price in Nepal, its not so honorable. All the devices are quite expensive.
