Well, just before the arrival of the Razer phone, there was no existence of the gaming phones. There were few handheld consoles, but people rarely used it. However, after the launch of the Razer phone, the craze for such devices hiked quite high. Similarly, ASUS also launched a new gaming smartphone, even better than the Razer phone, the ASUS ROG phone. After Razer, Xiaomi, Nubia and ASUS, Huawei plans to release new Huawei Gaming Phone, dedicated to the gamers.
In an interview, the company’s Consumer Business President Jim Xu confirmed the gaming-focused device and is set for an H2 release this year. However, Jim Xu didn’t reveal much about the device, except that it will feature Huawei’s GPU Turbo Technology out of the box. The Turbo Technology claimed to increase device performance by 60% while reducing power use by 30%.
Besides, we also have some expectation about the upcoming Huawei Gaming Smartphone, like Full HD+ resolution and high refresh rate. Obviously, it will have big RAM and the internal storage as well.
The president also confirmed that the moving mechanical parts similar to VIVO NEX and OPPO Find X are out of the question.
Further, the executive also confirmed that the company will also launch a foldable smartphone next year. However, nothing more was revealed about it.
Talking about the foldable smartphones, the Samsung is also another major player officially working in a foldable smartphone. It is expected to be launched sometime next year.
