The HTC unveiled its first smartphone of the year 2018, the HTC U11 EYEs. It features a dual front-facing camera, and it is also the first ever smartphone from HTC to have facial recognition feature. Even though the facial recognition feature is quite old technology, only after the iPhone X, its getting actual recognition. The HTC U11 EYEs comes with the 6-inch screen, with Super LCD3, 1080X2160 pixel resolution display. Of course, the screen has 18:9 aspect ratio, which seems to have become a necessity, though. On the top, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Inside, the HTC U11 EYEs packs an Octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, along with 4GB of RAM. To store your media files, it comes with 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB, that’s massive.
In the optics department, it inherits the 12-megapixel UltraPixel 3 camera with f/1.7 aperture, at the rear, which is already available in HTC U11. The rear camera has features like dual-LED flash, fast HDR, BSI, OIS, Slow-mo video shooting and 4K video shooting. Similarly, the front camera is Dual 5+5 megapixel with f/2.2 aperture. The feature includes fast HDR, FHD video recording, bokeh mode, etc. And, of course, the most important, the facial recognition feature.

The phone comes with a 3930mAh non-removable battery, which can last for a whole day, along with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The HTC runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and HTC Sense UI at the top. It is also IP67 water resistant certified.
Sensors include fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The connectivity include 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB 2.0 Type-c 1.0, Bluetooth 4.2.
