Being one of the biggest phone manufacturers in the world, Samsung has various type and models of smartphones. From feature to high-end devices, the Samsung has ruled the smartphone industry. Galaxy A8 and A8+ being their latest flagship, the company plans to launch a thick bezel phone in 2018, the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018), which could top among the good cheap phones. Though there is no official statement from the company, the phone is leaked and all the specs are on the table.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) comes with 5-inch 540X960 resolution, Super AMOLED touchscreen display. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core, Snapdragon 435 chipset, along with 1.5GB of RAM. With expandable storage, it comes with 16GB internal storage.
In the optics department, it comes with 8-megapixel shooter on the back and a 5-megapixel shooter for the selfies, interestingly both cameras have an LED flash. To back up the internals, it comes with 2600mAh battery, and with low-resolution Super AMOLED, the battery life should be decent. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) has dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2, LTE Cat.4 (up to 150Mbps down), and 802.11n Wi-Fi. A 2,600 mAh replaceable battery charges through a micro USB port.
The phone is priced at $135, which can be good competition to Xiaomi’s products.
