Gionee M series phone are known for its battery life. With the massive battery packed on the makes, the phone run for a couple of days without plugging in the charger. Adding to the existing lineup of Gionee M6 and M6 Plus, Gionee adds new M6S Plus with 6020mAh battery. The company unveiled the phone quietly in China.
The phone packs 6-inch FHD (1920X1080) Oncell AMOLED display. 1.93GHz Snapdragon 653 processor is powering the device coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone comes with two storage options: 64GB and 256GB which can be even extent with a microSD card. With the 64GB variant priced at CNY 3,499 and the 256GB variant priced at CNY 4,299. With the pre-booking starting from May 2 in China.
On the rear, there is a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and on the front, it has an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter for the selfie. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPS. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Gionee’s Amigo 3.5 UI over the top. It also features a fingerprint scanner, placed below of the front screen. Moreover, like the M6 and M6 Plus, the M6S Plus is also fully secured and safe. Essentially, the smartphone has got an encrypted chip that helps secure user’s data on the device.
Gionee M6S Plus, the device will be made available in China, to begin with. Though, there is no any official news to launch it in other markets.
