How often do you get to use the latest phone that has launched at the biggest electronic event in some European or American countries? Not much Nah! You will have to wait some months or up to six months at least. But this time we some bloggers got an exclusive chance to hands on the latest smartphone from the Gionee A1. The phone was recently launched at the Mobile World Congress 2017. Recently Gionee has organized first ever Gionee Blogger’s meet, where the company has previewed what the customers will be getting from its premium mid-range Gionee A1.
Talking about the Gionee A1, this is the combination of the best of the phone from two categories from the company: S-series and M-series. S- Series provide us with a great camera focused on the great selfie and the M series provide with the best battery backup that helped us at the period of load shedding. Now comes the A series with the same great selfie from the S series and great battery backup from the M series. With this premium mid-range, Gionee has focused on the three segments especially; Super Selfie, Super Battery, and faster OS.
The Phone is expected to be launched in the third week of the March though precise date of the launch is yet to be fixed. By the first week of April, the company plans to sell the phone from every retailer all over the country.
The A1 will be available in India and Nepal firstly and the price will be 349 EUR. The phone will be priced at around NPR.35000 roughly in the Nepalese market.
The A1 packs with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch. Above that, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Scratch Resistant technology. The phone has full metallic unibody design It comes in three color options: White, Gold and Black.
Inside the phone has 2.0 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Processor, with 4 GB of RAM. Talking about the storage it has 64GB built in and is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The Gionee A1 runs Android 7.0 OS amigo 3.something with the improved UI than the Gionee S6 Pro. This will be the first phone to come with Android Nougat in the box pack.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Gionee A1 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera. With the main focus on the selfie, the front of the phone is packed with a 16-megapixel camera with F/2.0 Aperture which lets more lights to enter on the sensor for better low light conditions. Front of the camera is equipped with the selfie flash for night selfies. With beauty mode, you can beautify yourself not only on selfies but also on video calling. This will be available only on Whatsapp and Messenger for now.
Gionee A1 is powered by a 4010mAh non-removable battery, which can be fully charged within 2 hours 18w fast charging and dual charging chips. There are features like ultra-saving mode to extend the battery life for a longer period. It’s a Dual SIM Smartphone micro+nano and both support 4G LTE, and more than connectivity writes about the combo connectivity options on the Gionee A1 include, GPS, Hotspot, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
