The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus has been launched and has become a huge success. Now the company is all focused to its Note lineup, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be launched in September, well some rumors suggest so. This new phablet lineup will cover the defected Note 7, hopefully, which is now on some market under name of Note FE.
With this upgraded Note series there are rumors that this will be the most expensive smart device till now from the Samsung, which is expected to retail for the price of $900.
The phone will be 6.3 inches with the same edge-to-edge, 18.5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display, which will be similar to the Galaxy S8 lineup. Though the Galaxy S8 Plus is also 6.2 inches, the company aims to differentiate with boosted internals and a dual main camera setup, alongside with the S Pen stylus.
Talking about internals, the Galaxy Note 8 will have same to-of-the-line Exynos 8895 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835/836 chipset, which will be paired with 6 GB of RAM. (Galaxy C9 is only Samsung’s handset that exceeds 4GB thresholds).
In the optics department, it is said that the cameras will be placed in horizontal position, with 12 megapixels sensors with independent optical image stabilization.
With the company yet to figure out the onscreen fingerprint scanner, the Note 8 is expected to retain the same position of the scanner along to the camera lenses. Still, it might be separated by a greater distance, alongside with Flash and heart rate sensor.
To back up the internals, it will have 3300mAh non-removable battery. Let’s hope there will no battery debacle this time like with the last series device if this repeats there will be no future on Note series. On the software category, it has apparently improved the use of split-screen multitasking feature, more S Pen capabilities, and added the ability to pin handwritten notes to the always-on display.
The Note 8 is said to have DeX capability. It lets you connect your device to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse a desktop experience powered by your phone. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ already have this feature.
The Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled in the second half of September 2017.
