Esewa, the first payment gateway company of Nepal has got the license to start remittance all over Nepal. Now, people do not have to roam around searching for money transfer. Last Tuesday, Nepal Rastra Bank, decided to provide the license to the company. The Central Bank provided the license on the basis of Nepal Rastra Bank Payment and Settlement Bylaw 2072, Regulation 19.
Esewa gets the license to start remittance business all over Nepal.
After getting the license, the Executive Officer of the company said: “They will develop the service with more managed and responsible way”. Currently, more than one (1) lakh customer use the mobile application and more than eight (8) lakh customers use the web to transfer the money. Additionally, the company has twenty-five (25) Zone Point all over the Nepal and more than 50 lakhs people are benefited from the zone points.
The customer can pay electricity bills, water bills, recharge, top-up, book airlines, book bus ticket, movie ticket, and a lot more from the app.
