Xiaomi is expected to bring new a dual rear camera phone in the second half of 2018. The successor of the Redmi Note 4. Actually, the company is planning to launch a new smartphone, the Redmi Note 5. According to the Gizmo China, the phone will be launched only in the second half of the year 2018, that’s insanely late.
Nevertheless, the Redmi Note 5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 processor, first Redmi smartphone to get Snapdragon 632 SoC. Actually, the Snapdragon 632 is the toned down version of Snapdragon 636 and expected to reduce the clock speed to 1.8GHz. But, it is expected to be better optimized for the dual camera setup.

The Redmi Note 5 will sport a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display. Following the trend, it will have very thin bezels, and the 18:9 aspect ratio, of course. In the optics department, as we already mentioned, it is a dual rear camera phone, so it will come with 12-megapixel sensors. For selfie, a 5-megapixel sensor is expected. But, there is information regarding the front camera. It is expected to be powered by the 4000mAh battery. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 price will be CNY 1200 (Rs, 18,000 roughly).
