Coolpad launches a new smartphone in India, the Coolpad Note 6. It is the first ever selfie centered smartphone from the company. Besides, it is an India-exclusive smartphone which will be only available offline. It is also the first time ever that the company has focused only on the Indian market. So, let’s talk about the Coolpad Note 6 price in India, specs, and features.
As I already mentioned that it’s a selfie centered smartphone, which is also the selling point for the company. Its highlights are the front-facing selfie camera with dual 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensor. front-facing camera supposedly allows for 120-degree wide-angle pictures. Similarly, there is a single camera with a 13-megapixel sensor and a six-piece lens and f/2.2 aperture on the back.
Coolpad Note 6 has a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a fingerprint sensor mounted on top of the home button. It has the headphone jack, but it opts for MicroUSB instead of new USB Type-C.
Inside, there is a Snapdragon 425 chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM. To store the media files there is a 32GB and 64GB storage options, which is expandable via microSD card. Similarly, it also features a huge 4070mAh battery, which promises 350 hours of standby time. If everything goes well, it should deliver at least 2 days of use.
The Coolpad Note 6 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, which is kind of a disappointment, given the fact that Android 8 Oreo is already out and even worse, a lot of budget smartphones come with Android Oreo out of the box.
Coming to the Coolpad Note 6 price in India, it will cost INR Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 9,999 for 32GB and 64Gb variant respectively. This phone has to compete with a couple of recently launched smartphone by Vivo, the Vivo Y71, and Vivo Y53i.
