Recently, a news from Japan suggests that the Apple is bringing colors option with its iPhone 7 successor iPhone 7S. The site says Apple will add a red casing color, joining the existing Black, Jet Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold options.
Actually, the Macotakara has a decent track record when it comes to reporting unreleased Apple products. It was the first site to say that Apple would remove the headphone jack.
According to the website:
“Basic design etc does not change, it seems that it will be only updates such as loading A11 chip, and it says that it does not seem to be wireless charging or glass chassis.”
The Apple also has threats from its competitors to innovate something new. However, only changing the skin color is not an innovation, is it?
Macotakara says that the 7s series would not include features like wireless charging or a glass casing. It would be a straightforward internal component update, moving from the A10 chip to the A11 chip, alongside the introduction of the red color option for the exterior.
Nevertheless, it is also rumored that the upcoming iPhone 8 will have OLED with bezel-less display. The iPhone 8 will have all-glass body and use ceramic also. Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 will be launched on 2017.
