Google Planning something sweet for Android’s Eighth Birthday.
This week Android is turning eight, so get ready for something sweet on 24th of September says Google (or tweets). Last year, Google treated with three dessert-themed wallpapers to celebrate the seventh birthday.
This year, the Android Twitter account teased tomorrow’s surprise with a picture that shows the Android mascot stirring eggs next to a number of Kit Kat bars, marshmallows, and nougat bars.

Google has picked 24th September to celebrate, the day it co-announced HTC made G1 (first Android phone) with T-Mobile in 2008. But, there are arguments regarding ‘real’ date. Some say 5th November 2007, the day Google announced working on its mobile operating system, while others say 22nd October 2008, when T-Mobile released the HTC G1.
